InterVideo Audio Decoder Filtrer Used when playing MP3 files in WMP

When I play some mp3 file in WMP 6.4 I see in the Filters in Use List Direct sound -=> o.k.
InterVideo Audio Decoder Filtrer -=> Why ???

When Divx is being played I see the beloved MPEG Layer-3 Decoder Filter it's okay I am sure.

I have many things installed on machine but I came to this when I couldn't hear any sound from Kazaa Lite (2.0.2) I uninstalled Real Player One wich is really s---s and I got my sound i started to check things out and got this issue I don't know if this filter plays MP3 well or not so please help out...

To all of you plz upgrade the InterVideo Audio Decoder filter
in windows\system folder to the latest version from Doom's Audio Filters Pack http://www.doom9.org/
Update the iviaudio.ax file and you'r done

The file lies in Downloads / Filter Section and it's part of
Audiofilters.zip -=> package

but the one in doom9 plays only 2ch!!

to play 6ch u need a regged version!

You could download the filter from www.intervideo.com it's in the WinDVD or WinDVD Platinum.

ookzDVD, that'll still be a demo version (will playback only 2channels!)

You must be kidding, I've been used it for 5.1 playback with no problem.

PS. You have to activate the Demo Trial first ;)

erm.. d'oh!

u need to have an activated trial (with a purchased serial) to make it work.. if the trial isn't activated, then it's revertinbg to 2ch.. look at the setup it says : "No multi channel support".
