From my understanding of the "compress dynamic range" option,
the louder sounds are reduced so that other sounds (such as peoples voice) can be heard. Also this is espcially true with sound tracks with mroe then 2 channels.
I'm trying to encode the sound from a old tv series (young ones)
but the sound quality from the master isn't exactly perfect and i'm getting a substantial bit of white noise, its also a 2 channel track. Is this to do with the choosing the "compress dynamic range" option or are there other recommend settings ?
