View Full Version : Help please with a simple scenarist question

I use Scenarist for quite a long now and my main problem is creating graphics with buttons (which I will certainly never understand how to do it).
All I want to do is create two VTS, the first with a 20 secs introduction video, and the second with the main movie. I could have placed them both in one VTS but the difference in audio bitrates doesn't allow to.
What I want to do is simple, when the first VTS (VTS_1) finishes playback, the second (VTS_2) to begin playback automatically without me having to place a picture with a "Play" graphics button on it

There must be a simple answer to this and if someone knows it please tell me.
Also if anyone know of a good book specializing in Scenarist or DVD authoring I would be happy to know.
Thanks

Just set a post command that goes to VTS2. It sounds like you don't have a handle on how to use commands. They're in the Scenarist manual as well as touched on some in the Scenarist guide here on the site.

I do try to set the post command but it does not accept it, in other words the post command line does not stick to the VTS_2.

Try creating a new PGC in the Video Manager domain and then link a post command from your intro movie to it, and then a post command from the new PGC to VTS_2
