I am experiencing absolutely reproducible crashes while encoding anything longer than a couple of minutes using CCE from DVD2SVCD. Reproducible in two ways:
1) Nothing has been encoded successfully as long as I keep the DVD resolution of 720x568/480. No crashes occur as soon as I resize to SVCD (480x576/480).
2) Every stream crashes at the exact same location each time I try to encode it, although the locations are different for different streams. The first pass (analyser) goes through, but several minutes into the encoding the progress indicator stops. CCE's not completely dead, though, I can still close it.
I am using 4-pass encoding. Does anyone have an idea what might be causing this? I have tried encoding on two different PCs, I have tried all the remedies listed in the DVD2SVCD forum short of switching to one-pass or CBR. So far for me, CCE means "Constant Crash Encoder". :-(
