Pauses When Playing DVD

I've followed every step possible in these forums: ripped the dvd with dvddecryptor, encoded it with CCE and used pulldown to generate .m2v file, and authored it with Ifoedit. I've burned the files already and now I have a problem. The dvd looks great and smooth, but always pauses. I tried to look for similar forums about pauses, but I couldn't find none. The dvd is basically all ready, but when playing, I get pauses every 10 seconds when I change chapters. Why is this? Another question is when authoring using the original chapter points, how come it is not similar to the original chapter points on the original dvd? Please help me, thanks.

Another thing...the movie would pause when being played on a dvd player after being burnt. When playing the vob files from your harddrive with like powerdvd, the movie is smooth and no pauses...i don't get it...my dvd player is a pioneer and i had no problems playing burnt dvds that are smaller than 4 gigs. This is the first dvd i've had to encode and i'm having trouble...please help me, thanks.
