How to deal with NTSC interlaced video (pulldown.exe)

I have a DVD that shows as interlaced NTSC. I got through CCE with a good quality video but when I use pulldown, I get weird motion artifacts. What settings do I use with pulldown.exe when my video is interlaced NTSC?

you dont use pulldown on interlaced NTSC content (unless you do a 3:2 IVTC before the encode)
