Hi people.
I am having troubles with BSlayer chapters. I have never used them, so I am a newbie in this field.
I normally choose keyframes as chapter start frames, but sometimes also delta frames, when the point I believe the chapter starts at is between 2 KFs. I use frame instead of time in the BSPlayer ini file, since it is way more accurate.
The files I am testing with are AVIs, with DivX4 video and one mp3 audio stream.
THE PROBLEM: when I select a chapter during playback in BSPlayer, it does not jump to the frame I wrote in the ini file, but to another, nearby frame, which sometimes is a keyframe and sometimes a delta frame. Sometimes it is a bit sooner in time, sometimes later. Sometimes the difference in time is not noticeable, sometimes it is indeed.
I can't isolate the reason why this happens. I am using the latest BSPlayer available (0.85 b492; the problem also happens with build 488).
By the way: where can I get Chappy? It is a program to create thumbnails to be used with chapters. I have looked for it and didn't found it.
I look forward to any reply. This is keeping me from freeing my HD of a lot of movies. :-(
