Couldn't think of anywhere else to ask this. I just got an All in Wonder 8500DV. I want to hook it up to my tv/tivo/etc 2 rooms away; straight shot 40'; going through floors etc 50'. What's the best way to do this?
I have cable coming into the computer room, ok there. Need to go back to tv for playback through the stereo/etc.
I can modulate the audio/video and run it back using tv cable, but can you buy modulators that work with S-Video?
Should I just go with that running tv cable each way? Would I need to amplify it?
If I can't buy a modulator for S-Video, is it possible to run S-Video cabling that far? Can it even be bought that long?
Is this pointless; will I lose too much having to go through 50' of wiring?
