While backing up Band of Brothers I had a little trouble choosing the correct split point.
Each disc has 2 episodes. Each disc has 2 program chains with 7 chapters in each; 6 actual chapters and the 7th is the layer break.
While splitting the first, ch7 of PGC1 was highlighted, so I used that. This put everything on disc 1. Using shift down arrow, I selected PGC2 through ch7, this put all in disc 1. Then I tried ch1 through ch7 under PGC1; this worked fine, just put epidoe 1 in 2 and vice versa.
I tried the *same thing* with disc 2. This put all in 1 directory. I highlighted ch1 through ch7 under PGC2 and everything worked perfectly. This also worked for discs 3 and 4. Tried disc 5 and it all went to 1 directory. Highlighted ch1 through ch7 under PGC1 and this split them nicely, just swapping directories again.
What is up? Each disc is composed the same way, but doing on thing doesn't work on 1 and 5 but works great on 2-4.
Not that big a deal, worked out in the end. Just confused and a slight hassle, doing this on a PIII taking 75mins to split each time trial and error.
Thanks.
