slight audio jitter occasionally

I rip movies using dvd decryptor, then use ifoedit -> tmpeg method, to re-encode just the main movie, everything works fine, the audio is in sync etc, plays fine in my player, but occasionally throughout the movie I get a little audio stutter (it is barely noticeable).
It happens only half a dozen times during the movies, the audio remains perfectly in sync but I can hear a slight pause, it seems to mainly happen a few seconds after the start of a chapter. I am using good quality verbatim and pioneer disks. I dont really have any idea what it could be, any ideas would be awesome.

same problem here with windtalkers (rc1).
the stuttering is very annoying. it seems like audio stops on loud parts. used rempeg2 and ifoedit 0.6.
