View Full Version : How do you properly multiplex a SVCD with scanpoints?

Basically this centers around the ability of a DVD player to use time-based seeking. If I just use nero, well apperently it doesn't format the discs properly, and players can't tell the total length of the file, let alone seek, and that goes for anything no matter how its multiplexed. If I multiplex the file with TMPGenc, and burn it with a vcdimager based program, the length registers, but I can't seek. If I multiplex it with BBMPEG, I vcdimager programs register about 1000 errors in the file, but the end result does work fine. What I don't get is, some files I see, register the same results in a vcdimager scan as I get with tmpgenc, yet they do seek properly. Also there are some that vcdimager finds clean of any errors at all, of which I have no clue how to do this. How are people doing the multiplexing so they come out properly?
