Support for CCE 2.66 via AutoCCE?

I'm not sure if DVD2SVCD followed the "AutoCCE" thread over in the CCE forum, but if he did not and reads this message, I suggest he looks at this thread: http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=39205 :)

Does this look like something that could be supported in a later version of DVD2SVCD to add support for CCE 2.66?

I'm also curious. The CCE change log suggests that CCE 2.66 provides better picture quality. Can anyone confirm? Is there a plan for DVD2SVCD to support AutoCCE?

As always with DVD2SVCD we will not know until at least a beta is released. He is the type that does not like to talk about possilities until they have been proven to work for him. Unless he needs help with something it's a surprise to even us Mods what will be in the next version. Kind of like Christmas at ever release.

Then, of course, there is the readme on his homepage telling in general what ideas he is working on.

What about the quality issue. Has anyone tried it to see? Given the quality of cce 2.5 it's probably hard to tell!!!

@DVDHack: [edit: my bad] I agree with you. Perhaps in theory this new version provides better quality... but who would be able to tell?
