burning mpeg 2 [Archive]

Hi all
i am completely new at this so if any thing i ask is daft please forgive
Now to my question I have used dvd2svcd to convert one of my dvds, the result although it took a long time was exellent. Now my problem is when I go to burn on to cd using nero and nero codec it converts them slowly to mpeg1 format and the result is good but not as good as the as the mpeg2 format is there anything I can improve this

Choose Super Video-CD in Nero, not Video-CD.

If you want Video-CD, encode straight to MPEG-1.

the first bit is quite obivious but not to me at the time
The second bit is a bit harder for me tried to find how to choose super video cd in nero but cant any help

You've got to close the wizard to change to "professional" mode.
There you'll find Super Video-CD
Be sure to have the latest NERO version (5.5.9.17 I guess)
