how to get the subs into the actual video, no xtra file...

hi all,

i just ripped a movie - heaven - wich uses mixed languages (italian and english) and has subtitles on the italian parts.

now since i never use subs and i don't want to start with it and i also want to be able to give the movie to friends that don't have a clue i'd like to get them into the actual video.

i think i remember there was a way, but i wouldn't know how to figure.

any ideas, anybody?

I think the quicker way is to use vobsub to ripp the subtitle and use the virtualdub plugin to burn them to the video during encoding.
Look at Doom9 "DirectVobSub Guide" to know how to ripp the subtitle.
