creating a small vob ?

after splitting my dvd to two dvdr discs I would like at the end of the first disc an on screen message to be displayed along the lines of please insert disc two. any ideas how I do this ?

You might want to pose your question to IFOedit experts but, in my opinion, you can't do such a thing without reauthoring the disc.

agreed the vob will be put in using ifoedit (thats the easy bit) but can I make a still picture vob from say a photoshop gif ?
