DVD 2 DVD-R problem with 1st disk

I am trying to backup Starwars II to 2 DVD-Rs. I am following the procedure described with IfoEdit. The second DVD-R is OK but I have a problem with the first one.
When the play movie is selected from the menu, the DVD players(PowerDVD and desktop ones) do nothing.

Any ideas?

I need more info off you really....Does it even play atall (Does it play menu's but not movie) ???

If it doesnt play atall I suspect it is probably the same problem I experienced with LOTR..

I previously had no problem burning anything using VOB Instant.. Then LOTR had a problem with disc 1..I got told to create an image in Ifoedit then burn with DVDDecypter...

I didn't think that would work but tried it anyways... And IT WORKED!!!

Since then I have always burnt them this way...

Update:

The menus are OK. When I select "play movie" from the menu the systems hangs. BUT, when I select "select chapter" and "chapter 1" the movie starts without problems.
Same thing with the IfoEdit image!!!

You have copied all the Menu files havent you ??

I have had this once when i missed one of the VTSxx_0.vob

I missed it off the main VTS fo the movie..
