View Full Version : Rempeg very strange behaviour...

This is the first time I got this error from Rempeg:

vbv_delay underflow! (decoding time=xxxx.x , t_EOP=xxxx.x)

The movie is Monsters Inc. R1,R4 and got this error along whole vob file, in some vob extras files. The main movie is OK.

Never had this error, only with this DVD.

I checked the bitrate and changed up to 90% but got the same error.
Somebody can explain what could happened?

update:
Rempeg still shows the same error, but:

Ifoedit 0.94 remuxed the m2v without problems and played ok in my standalone...

Monters INC dont need to be re-encoded
you can backup it in a DVD-R without problems

I'm using DVD 1:1 copy method for this DVD (movie, english and spanish audio + all menus + all extras)
It worked 100%. But I was having troubles with VTS_18_1.VOB and VTS_17_1.VOB transcoding.

Que configuracion estas usando con Rempeg?

Estos son los parametros que usé:

Scale Factor: 67%
Limit Max Bitrate: 8030 Kbps
Bit Allocation Adjustment: 110, 100, 100%
Output Resolution: 352x480 (para evitar pixelacion a tan bajo Bitrate, aprox. 3180 Kbps el promedio)
Frame Mode: Match Source
Search Technique: Gradient (con Half Pel activado)
Integer DCT activado
Use ISSE activado...
Tal cual la guia de Doom9...
En la pestaña de Log aparece en todos los GOP el buffer underflow de video. Traté de variar algunos parámetros, pero siempre aparece el mismo error, lo ignore y multiplexé el video con Ifoedit sin problemas. Lo queme en DVD+RW y funciono perfecto en mi DVD Philips... Como te dije, con todos los menus y ocupo 4.32 Gb. Si quisiera ajustarlo tan exacto no lo hubiera logrado...
Al principio me preocupo la situacion, ya que este error en SVCD implica que se congela la imagen en el DVD Player tantas veces como errores aparezcan, pero en este caso no fue asi. De todas maneras gracias. Por cierto, eres de por aqui cerca?

Solution:
If you have a similar problem, just ignore it :D
I solved my problem not transcoding this 2 vob files... :rolleyes:

(Relativamente cerca Costa Rica y Venezuela)
maybe in the future doom9 forum will be translated with one button
( lo que hago aveces para no tener que recodificar todos los VOBs es que unicamente proceso con ReMpeg2 solo los ultimos 2....prueba ese metodo tal ves te funcione )
