I have tried using the 3 svcd clips(from "DVD2SVCD OFFICIAL Q&A") for testing my DVD Player : KeBao -- KB2089. The result is quite strange.
1st video: "NTSC with CVD style subtitles"
It can show the subtitle, but 50% of them are out of screen.
2nd video: "PAL with CVD style subtitles"
All of the subtitles and audio are played properly.
3rd video: "NTSC with SVCD style subtitles"
Subtitle NEVER show up.
My TV set is 4:3, PAL & NTSC Compatible.
It is clear that my player doesn't support SVCD Subtitle. But I don't understand why the CVD Subtitle in NTSC movie is not played properly, but it works perfectly in PAL movie?
