I have a divx that I want to put one 1 cd. In the encoder section I changed all the minute lengths to use 1 disk. No luck. I have tried this several times but it never works. I searched all over the faq but could not find an answer. Im using d2s c and cce 2.5 if that matters.
Thanks

Firstly, taking a 1cd divx and putting it on a 1 cd svcd will lok terrible. Go for 2 cds at least for some resemblance to quality (IMHO).
Secondly, what actually happens, does the encode take place but result is a 2 cd svcd or what?

It goes throught the whole process but the end result it two mpegs. Im not sure how it will look, but I just want to see if I can do it. Im still learning and am trying to get a feel for the programs.

Try setting the range for the first cd to outside the length of the AVI by about 5 minutes or so. Then go and continue to set up the rest of the range selections for multiple discs.
I think that worked for me.
Also, to see what the svcd looks like, in the folder you saved the encode to, look at a file named something like bbmpegmux01.mpg or something like that. Alternatively, use VCDeasy to extract the mpeg file from the .bin file and look at that to get an idea of picture quality.
