Hi there,

i encoded around 30 dvds with dvd2svcd and never had problemes like these:

i ripped a dvd (a german movie) to hd with the internal routines of dvd2svcd - everythings fine - when i watch the vobs i hear the right audiostream. but wenn i encode it with dvd2svcd i hear the audiostream + comments from the authors of the movie. why does besweet rip that comments from the vob file into my mp2-file, while i can hear no comments when watching the vobs with for example power dvd.

how can i rip only the right audiostream?

thanks in advance

sb

p.s. i tried to execute besweet separately with the gui - it always gives me a runtime error 5

I don't use that DVD2SVCD, but generally, you can extract the ac3 while ripping in SmartRipper by activating "Stream Processing" and selecting "demux to extra file" for the right audio track.

Then you can do with that ac3 what you wanna do.

the problem is, i only have the vob-files - smartripper can only extract from dvds :(

then use DVD2AVI to extract them, just make sure you choose the right track, set Dolby Digital -> demux (or demux all if you want all tracks to be extracted) and save the project.
It won't take too long.

ok, i open the vobs, choose "demux all tracks" and save the project. dvd2avi saves an d2v-file. what comes next, i mean how do i get that right audio track from that file?

bye,
