I'm trying to convert a divx XVID movie to svcd. I extracted the audio to wav format and when i try to convert the avi to svcd it stops at exactly 50% each time in tmpgenc...anyone have any ideas?

If the conversion freezes at the same frame each time, you might want to check it with VirtualDub. Maybe that frame is defective or something like that.
