Need help with DVD Decrypter (media region)

When I try to rip a dvd it shows MEDIA REGION CODE IS MISMATCHED TO LOCAL UNIT REGION!

I changed the settings in any way possible but I still can't get the disc ripped. What can it be?? I've never had such problem before. I have a Memorex DVD+r/+RW. I would realy like some help with this.

What is the exact (FULL) error? Unless you've got some sort of region killing software installed, DVD Decrypter should be able to cope with it.

right click on the drive selection box.
on the menu that appears, choose 'Region' -> 'Change' -> 'Region X'

Where 'X' is the region your dvds are from.

1st the region is correct in the first place!! no need to change anything there, but i still tried. only to achieve failure!!! :(
but as i wrote on some other post... i did an image with my pioneer 116 and then burnt. the burner is actually able to finhish the recording process but it cannont recongine the disk, neither can it be played on my standalone.
any ideas on what may be causing that???

I had the same error in decryopter doing LOTR Zone 2 , the dvd finish but with some files skipped

i have the same problem with my pioneer a06, i found by using dvd idle pro/dvd region free that this cured it. what you have to do is add the dvd decrypter .exe to dvd idle pro's list of apps. then close everything down and run dvd decrypter up it should automatically load dvd idle pro and alow you to rip any region.

If thats the problem you've got, just set the drives region! Its not hard!
3.1.6.0 even has a nice gui interface allowing you to do with easy. I spent the time making it, the least you can do is use it!
