Subtitles as a .txt file:S

Hi,

This is my first post, so please bear with me.
I have aquiered a copy of a film, but it is in Polish. The film also came with a seperate .txt file which consisted of the subtitles.

Here is a section of the .txt file:

{7590}{7655}You're not ready for Class A.
{7656}{7763}Work a little more on B and C.
{17021}{17074}Well done, Ash.
{17075}{17127}Still as good as ever.
{17128}{17179}Charge me for|one clip of 7.62mm...
{17180}{17280}...and two clips of PPK.
{17384}{17526}Two or three more 'completes'|and you go to the next level.

The thing I don't understand, is how I get these subtitles into the movie. The film is .avi format by the way. And I use DivX5 to play them.

So any ideas on how I get these subtitles into the movie, I looked on the main site, but couldnt find a suitable guide.

BSPlayer plays .txt subtitles (.avi movie file name and .txt subtitle file name should be the same of course). Also, as an easy way, you can rename the extension of .txt to .sub, so most players would play it.

Matter of fact, i prefering the MicroDVD subtitles with the *.txt extension, as then they are easily editable... :D ;)

Tought, i admit that the reall extension should be *.sub, but im tooooo lazy to add another filetype into winblows... :p :rolleyes: :cool: :D
