View Full Version : how to switch 0x80 to 0x81 audio track in ripped vobs?

got the problem, that ripped vobs on the harddisk usually play back in the wrong language and there is no "audio channel" functionality in any player when playing back from harddisk (zoomplayer, windvd..)

using ifoedit i can strip away (vob extras-strip streams) the languages i dont want to hear and get a copy of all the vobs that play back in the right language.

why not rip only with the wanted language you will ask: because i want to encode the vobs to divx with 2 audio tracks, so i need multitrack-vobs.
is there a way to just switch the adress of the audio tracks, lets say from 0x81 to 0x80 and vice versa, so the vobs play back in the right language and i dont need to make a stripped copy?

i tried in ifo edit to switche the values of vts_pgciti -> vts_pgcc_1 in the line "audio stream 1 status" and "audio stream 2 status" but nothing changed when playing back the file.
can anyone help me? thank you!
