Ok, first off I've ripped loads of dvd's and managed to dvdr them no problem. What I am trying to do is this. I ripped the main movie files to hdd. Copied a dolby trailer to the same folder. Then following Derrows guide on joining vobs/clips I renamed them starting with the dolby trailer to VTS_01_001.vob and so on. Then using Vobedit to join the vobs starting with a vob id of "1". Then I created new ifo's for these vobs and did a "Get VTS Sectors".
"Voila" it works fine in Ifoedits player. It also works great in Powerdvd as hdd files. Great I thought, as a last test I burned the files to a DVD-RW. This plays great in Power dvd. Ok , this was looking good!! Put the disk in my Phillips 880, which btw plays everything thrown at it so far, what happened then is a s follows...
It recognised the disc as DVD but then just started skipping through all the chapters 1 by 1 until then last chapter were it then just stops. I'v tried different DVDRW's etc but still no joy on the set top 880! Any ideas anyone?
