Bug Or What?

Just encoded spiderman.In the 2nd cd when it starts permanent subtitles just appear reeallly short and u cant even read them.this happens 3times in the movie.I dont know if something is wrong in the subtitler script.i'm not so advanced like you all r here:(

10 to 1 this thread gets moved. Anyways, yes I would guess its some sort of bug, a search might have netted you this thread (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=39188). It would appear to me that some dvds dont specify the stop time for some subs, and dvd2svcd used to display them until the next one started, but in newer versions just stops them at the same starting point. Just a guess, thats what it looks like to me from that other threads examples...

Also Tobytl is correct that a search would have most likely answered your question. Save yourself the wait next time and try a search before posting.

It is a known issue that DVD2SVCD is working on.
Have you downloaded the 1b update?
I think this was one issue that was addressed or at least attempted to be fixed.

1B doesn't solve the problem (yet-maybe that's the reason D2S hasn't oficially announced it).
Try dvd2svcd 1.0.9 build 3, or 1.1.0 pre 22, if you still have it,
as a temporary solution ONLY. Subs for those darn "Made in Greece" DVDs work there, and permanent subs look better than 1a.

I am on my 16th attempt (!!!) to upload a sample file on the server so d2s can see to the problem. Connection times out, and it doesn't have "resume" :(. Now I splitted the file, so I hope smaller chunks will have better luck.

Strange, maybe I should reset the server. And it does have resume (no idea why it shouldn't work) and ample space.
