When I use TMPGenc to convert a divx to an m2v, the length is slighty changed. This wouldn't be a problem except that it causes imported subtitles ( into DVDMaestro ) to slowly drift over time.
For example, if I have a video that is 57:37 ( at 23.976 fps ), the outputed video is 57:33:29 ( 29.97 fps ). At the end of the video the subtitles are almost 3 seconds late.
What is the best way to fix this problem? I guess I could try and tweak the subtitle file to get it to match up, but I assume there's a better way to deal with this problem.
Thanks.
