I'm getting a 27" Sony WEGA for Christmas, and am wondering if the 16:9 Enhanced Mode will enhance the viewing pleasure of my DivX rips? I'm aware of how the 16:9 mode works, but am not sure about the DivX movies since they were encoded from anamorphic source, yet no longer are. Will it not matter since the resolution from my TV-out is 4:3 (640x480 or 800x600, depending on the movie)~~> (this is what I'm figuring, that it won't matter)... I'm going to be incredibly happy anyways, I've been watching my rips on a 5 year old 20" Zenith TV, so quality has never existed on my TV. any comments are welcome.

well, I think this depends on what you feed the TV. If you feed that TV a progressive signal through the component video inputs then you should be able to take advantage of the enhanced mode. I think this should be possible with a decent video card that has component video outputs. ATI comes to mind, yet I've never tried what you speak of so good luck.
