currently, in divx 5, it seems that the keyframe interval is fixed. you choose a number, and it can't change durring the encoding process at all. if each p / b-frame were the same size, no matter how many changes occured from one frame to the next, i don't think it would matter, but when i once asked about variable frame rate on this forum, someone said that they weren't the same size - that duplicate p-frames, since they wouldn't contain any changes from the previous frame, would be almost zero size... which kinda makes me wonder... wouldn't it be better to have keyframes where there are major scene changes?
