TMPGenc & Audio engines

Hello,
I read the TMPGenc FAQ + Online HELP, but didn't find informations I was lookinkg for.

I usually use "tooLAME 0.2i" to process Audio (in evironnmental setting->audio engine/Extrenal tool (depend of version)).
But I wanted to try "MAENC". ButI didn't find anywhere this software..
Could you tell me where I can find it please ? (I've already found tooLAME & SCMPX).
And with tooLame, is it possiple to change the parameters ? Or do I have to use something like Besweet/tooLAME-alone to be able to choose parameters ?

(I have an other question, but it's not important)
When I use "save analysing result of multi-pass VBR to cache (= 4096 Mo)", I don't understand WHERE this cache is created ? I tried to looked on TEMP drive and in TMPGenc folder, but I didn't see anything
(of course I always use "2-pass VBR (new)")
Could you tell me please where it's saved ?(for ex. "C:\TEMPFOLDER\ABCD.XYZ" ) )

Hi seewen,

Well with toolame set as your external encoder, you can tweak easily the encoding parameters in the audio tab of TMPGEnc latest version, and when it will begin the encode, you can check the dos window to see that toolame is working with the parameters you specified in TMPGEnc.

Now about my pblm: me too I've been using the latest toolame 0.2i as external encoder, as by testing I could see it was faster and better quality than SCMPX; but I dunno why or what I made (soft/codec install?) so that now when TMPGEnc tries to launch toolame for the audio encoding, it just always blocks at the error message "External encoder toolame.exe was not run properly" :confused: , so does anybody have an idea to solve this please?
