Hi there!

Now that we have the fine AC3-Filter from Valex to replace iviaudio.ax I thought I might also get rid of ivivideo.ax (or the cyberlink filter or whatever). My idea was to not install WinDVD/PowerDVD or any other package at all and just to register some nice mpeg2-dshowfilter (like ac3filter for ac3-sound) since I do the playback job with zoom player anyway and don't need the whole windvd player application and all that stuff...

Is there any fully working (no demo version with logo in the corner!) and good quality mpeg2-dshow filter that can just be registered and work in a normal dshow-dvdgraph?

Actually they are the best... So until Milan integrate the MPEG-2 decoder within his filter with the CSS decryption, I think you should keep them.

The filter with the logo in the corner is certainly the Elecard one, the thing is that it doesn't contain the CSS decryption so you can't use it with encrypted DVDs.

Ok, that's what I feared...guess I have to stick to WinDVD then for a while...I was also thinking about ffdshow, hope that mpeg2 won't take too long there :-)

Thanx for your input.
