If I'm using the frame selection setting and still want to overlap the CD's, can I use the selection in bbMPEG or should a just move the frame selection for the 2nd CD back 60 frames or so and uncheck the overlap in bbMPEG?

As far as I know, there are no issues with using CD overlap and frame selection together.

Well it all depends really. If your using frame selection to select a single portion that spans multiple cds, then yes the overlap in the bbmpeg tab will work just like normal. If however you are using frame selection to select portions for single cds (ie selection 1 is cd1, selection2 is cd2), which it sounds like your doing, then you need to move back 60 frames on cd2 start point like you described. The reason for this is that as far as ive seen dvd2svcd internally treats each selection as a seperate encode, so its impossible to get the last 2 seconds of video on cd1 to put in front of cd2. In 'normal' mode it just uses the starting second setting in bbmpeg to go back 2 seconds from the end of cd1, but like i said, when using frame selection to specify cds the mpeg files are completely seperate.

Bleh, now that I got that last bit of hot air out, i need a nap, that tryptophan stuff in turkey and all. So Hope all who celebrates thanksgiving (today) had a good one!

Thanks for the reply. Yes, I was talking about selecting the break point between two discs. I figured that was what I needed to do but was getting a bit goo brained.
