Anybody tried region 2 Spiderman yet?

After ripping and stripping streams I came to re-encode the video using the cce method. however on import into Maestro all 3 audio tracks fail at 66% with the same error, has anybody found a way around this yet?

it fits on 1 disc if you kill the extras

Yes, it fits in a sinle disk.

Just a note though; if you do not include the 1st English subtitle (which is set by default and has only some graphics at the start), but only include the 2nd English, then there is a "subtitle leaking" (!). I mean that in four occasions and for a couple of seconds in each occasion, subtitles appeared, without having activated them!! This effect persisted with many versions of IfoEdit and both software and standalone dvd players.

You just *need* to have the 1st (almost empty) and any of the other (if you want to, that is!) (English) subtitles, whether or not you activate any of them at all during play...

Anybody else noticed this behaviour? ( One of this occasions was in the very beginning of Chapter 15, when the editor-in-chief mentions the word "vigilante" etc. )

If you strip all extra's, languages and subs you don't need, it fits on one DVD-R.

A remark concerning some strange behaviour is with players of the brands Panasonic and Philips; these act strange at chapter 17 and/or 22 (stop playback, eject disc, etc.). This is know at the supplier and according my information thay are working on the solution (= new batch of DVD's). Maybe this causes also the problems in the subs?

I completely re-authored the complete cd, using SCenarist and CCE. Kept only the ENglish audio and one subtitle stream (dutch). I had no problems at all and the disk plays fine.

I have successfully ripped Spidey now, I was using an older version of DVD De-Crypter which seems to have been the problem.
