Resize feature

Hi!

Are there any plans to implement resize feature in the codec like it is done in divx5? Only it is not done properly, since I get green stuff all over the picture. I would be very happy to have such a feature in xvid, because I would like to capture TV/VHS and resize on the fly. And of course xvid is superior top divx5, so I would only use xvid :)

You already have resize feature with ffdshow, which can also playback almonst every MPEG4 codec.

Such a "feature" doesn't belong into a codec. It is definatly degrading quality and thus has nothing in common with xvid. It belongs into the capture application. I don't think anyone will implement that feature into xvid - but take a look at your application, it might be build-in already...
