Hi: I have experience in DivX but I never worked with SVCD. Now I have in my HD a directory structure like this:

+-EXT
| \--SCANDATA.DAT
+-MPEG2
| \--AVSEQ01.MPG
+-SEGMENT
| +--ITEM0001.MPG
| \--ITEM0002.MPG
\-SVCD
+--ENTRIES.SVD
+--INFO.SVD
+--LOT.SVD
+--PSD.SVD
+--SEARCH.DAT
\--TRACKS.SVD

The total size is about 800 MB. This is a SVCD with two audio streams, a main menu and an exit picture (please insert disk 2...), but when I burn it with the SVCD option of Nero, the SVCD dont have the menu and dont allow to select the second audio track.

What's the correct way to burn this CD?

Nero isn't that great when it comes to burning SVCDs. (Though, you should be able to switch the audio tracks still. Maybe your player doesn't support it? http://www.vcdhelp.com should tell you.) Try using VCDEasy. It's as a GUI that allows you to add chapters, menus, a few other things and it belches out a cue/bin file, which can be burned with Nero's Image burner. It also as a burning software too, but your CD-RW drive has to support it.
