CCE Questions

I have a few questions on the "Getting the best out of CCE" guide.
1) When you get to part in the guide where it says to copy the numbers out of chapter extractor it tells you to look for something like this:
chapter=0:
chapter=5626:
chapter=11592:
chapter=17771:
chapter=22502:
Do I just copy the first 5 chapters, or do I copy all of them which are there?
2) After the first pass, the guide states: "Normally it will not have the desired size plus you want to tweak it even further but just in case have a look at it and if it fits your needs you're done already." How do I know what size my encoded files are at this point?

I just went through this process yesterday... everything worked out except for the subtitle sync at the end. I'll try again tomorrow.

As for your questions:
1) Copy the whole thing

2) I didn't notice this as first either... and I just carried on (I saw something on the bottom right of CCE that saidy about 1.4 GB which didn't make sense for the main movie, but that's what it was!). Just look around in CCE... there's something there. When you are adjusting the quality of the different sections, you can always bump the globably bitrate up (make sure to check the size of the other files on the disc besides the movie and try not to go over that).

Thank you very much. I actually just figured this out yesterday on my own as well. Maybe they could change the "getting the best out of cce" guide to highlight this point.

I feel that is the problem with the guides... and why it makes it too easy for a newbie/first timer to get stuck on a simple point. I think most newbies want to be walked through step by step then learn the programs later (maybe learn some of the basics of the program).
