I ripped the whole DVD into hard drive. Then I followed the guide DVD9toDVD5 Full guide to the tee except the subtitles part.

I can play from hard drive just fine, but when I tried to burn it using Nero, it gives me the error "One of more VOB files do not belong to VTS_07.ifo." I don't think it is due to subtitles missing, but that was the only part I did not follow in the guide.

Another thing. Since I copy all those other vob's in the beginning using Decryptor, upon authoring I just picked and moved VTS_TS and VTS_07 files (main movie) to another location to play it. It goes through FBI warning and stops and I have to press play to go into the main movie.

Should I only have selected VTS_TS and VTS_07 from Decryptor since I was gonna get rid of other stuffs anyhow? If I did that would it have made a difference?

Cheers in advance

Since you have DVDMaestro, why do you use NERO for burning?
Just create your image file with Maestro and record it to your media with DVDDecrypter. This works like a breeze for me.

It's not because of the subtitles. Though I don't know why you'd want to leave them out since it's so easy and they take up hardly any space. Anyway, the reason why is because you're using a version of Nero after 5.5.8.0. I've mentioned this a number of times in other posts. Either use 5.5.8.0 or create an image and burn with DVD Decryptor as was mentioned.

As for the other stuff you were talking about with regards to moving files around, I wouldn't go bastardizing the guide too much. You can do things such as leaving subtitles out but if you go altering things too much from the process, I can't be held responsible for strange results from screwed up IFO files. ;)

Yes...now I determined that it's Nero (ver.5.5.8.5) might be the culprit. I have Memorex DVD BURNER (DVD+RW/R). I will try buring img. instead.

BTW, I have used Subrip for other movies but in Coyote Ugly, I encountered "LBA:Bad Packet Header 58098" message. Thinking that it was a bad rip, I ripped it again but same problem at the same point of subripping.
