how many people have sync problems with divx to (s)vcd..

how many people have sync problems with divx to (s)vcd, just curious as i find that around 80% of the time a movie is out of sync and no matter what i do it stays out of sync.
I've have almost given up on this i've wasted countless cdr's & spent a week's a/l trying to sort this out with no success so what i need to know from somebody who does divx to (s)vcd is tha answer to th above question or should i just give up and get an x-card.

I've burned many hundreds of (S)VCDs and many thousends of cd-r but no one is asyncron. You, the author, is the master of smith, just take care of the a/v sync. Only when it perfect sync than burn it, otherwise do not burn it but go on to solve the problem.
My advice: extract the audio in wav in Vdub, encode the video and audio separate, mux them with bbMPG, done. You may check the framerate of the avi in VDub if it correct. If you make your problem concrete we may help you more.
