Settings in CCE to get exact output as input

DCT type: Field
Quantscale: Linear
Scan type: ZigZag
Frame type: Progressive

Dvd2Avi reported it to be 91% Film and Framerate 29.97
When i made the avi project i coosed "Filed operation: None"
Checked in CCE: Progressive ,ZigZag , Linear Quantscale
The output became:

Pic. structure: Frame
Field topfirst: Yes
DCT type: Frame
Quantscale: Linear
Scan type: ZigZag
Frame type: Progressive

For some reason the output "DCT type: Frame". Does this matter?
Or should i choose other settings in CCE and DVD2Avi?

Ok.. 1 frame is 2 fields in interlaced.
Maybe it deinterlace???

progressive is frame based, interlaced (non-progressive) is field based, so it is correct.

auenf you say its correct, my question is the original movie was DCT type Field, so why is the frametype Progressive? And does zigzag only go with progressive? cause i just came across a movie where everything pointed to interlaced but scantype was zigzag..hmm

Being anal though, to get the exact output as the input, why use CCE? If your input is already your output what's the point?

I just know that zigzag scannning order is what it says..it scans zig zag the pixels of a frame when it encodes.but u have confused me a bit:confused:
