Connection Problem In DVDMaestro

I have tried just about every connection in Maestro but I cannot get this to work. I want the DVD to go to Main menu after I push the stop button and then push the play button. I have the First Play and Title Menu targts set to the Mainmenu. When I first put the DVD into the DVD player and close the tray the DVD goes right to the Mainmenu. However after I stop the movie playing and I get a Blue screen; then I push the play button on the remote, the DVD player plays the Chapter 1 of the Main movie (not the mainmenu) How do I get the DVD player to go to the Mainmenu after I hit the stop button. The only way I get it to work is to eject the DVD and the load the DVD or push the Menu Button on the remote.

I've got the same thing with my DVD player, and I believe that the problem is specific to the player, so you can't author around it. However, if you press Stop twice, then Play, it should start over from the beginning (at least, that's what works on my Magnavox).

this is happening by design.

when you hit play (without resume) on a stopped dvd, it will play the first PGC (iirc), menu key will open the title.

if you create a button over video in the first VOB, it will work as you want.
