Hi,
I have been following the full copy guide of the doom9 website.
And when I want to insert my m2v file, I get Illegal picture resolution for DVD video. Error code : 0xc10a000b
Anyone has an idea?
It's a PAL dvd i'm trying to do.
Thanks.
Erik

What MPEG2 encoder have you used?
What encoding settings did you use?
Examples of acceptable frame sizes for the DVD spec are:
720x576, 352x288, (PAL)
720x480, 352x240 (NTSC)
Although there are others (sorry, I'm too drunk and too tired to give you a full rundown! :D )
Please thoroughly answer both the above questions and you may receive a more helpful answer from Doom9 members.

Here's the complete list. If your resolution is not one of these it is not DVD compliant.
NTSC: 720x480, 704x480, 352x480, and 352x240
PAL 720x576, 704x576, 352x576, and 352x288

Ok well I'm using this guide.
http://www.doom9.org/index.html?/mpg/maestro2.htm
I encoded my video with cce.
But in the whole progress I have seen no place where I should really specify the resolution for PAL. Except for the subtitles and i'm not even importing those atm.

Oh something I just read.
Step 5: Pulldown (NTSC only)
I have been doing this aswell.
Let me try while skipping this step, i'll let you know.

Open your .m2v file in DVD2AVI and look what resolution you actually have.
BTW, when working in CCE, you can force DVD compatible size, checking "DVD compliant" box in Video settings.
There is nothing to do with pulldown, if you are making PAL.
