2.66.01.07 Slower?

I've started experimenting with 2.66.01.07. I've been using 2.5 for some time without complaints.

While I like not needing to run pulldown after a transcode, I'm noticing the speed is around 1x compared to around 1.4x to 1.7x with version 2.5. Is everyone else experiencing this slowdown? I'm using avisynth with both versions.

I'm using 2.66.01.02 (later bugfixes don't affect me - being a PALer) and I find it faster than both 2.50 and 2.64.10 (using avisynth).

How are You getting CCE 2.66.01.07 to Insert tff and rff flags so you don't need pulldown.exe?

I just check the 3:2 pulldown detection box and so far it works. While it's slower (for me) than 2.5, not needing to do the extra step of the pulldown is worth it.

Normally you should get a lot faster.For me about 15%.
Maybe your hard drive and registry are having hard time.
In fresh xP installations I remember getting highest speeds.
As i was installing programs the speed was goind doooowwnnnn....

your CCE speed will vary depending on the source, amount of motion, quality settings, quant. settings, etc. and 2.66 changed the quality settings bit, so its easy not to set it to the same as 2.5.
