I´ve tried to encode E.T (115 minutes) with DVD2SVCD, and i´ve choosed 3 CDs and 224kb audio (also tried with 192kb, still the same result). But i end up with 2 CDs ~800mb and 1 CD ~400mb... I want 3 CDs ~800mb...
What can I do to get the last CD full?

Or should i go for 2 CDs á 800mb (with 192kb audio 5:1)?

Hi,

the answer is pretty simple. Your max average bitrate limits the file size. I think standard value is 2330. (2330+192)/8*60*115/1024=2124
and 800*3=2400. So you must go higher with the average bitrate. But don't forget that there has to be a certain diffrence between max bitrate and max average bitrate.

To force it to make a larger file you will need to raise the bitrate. This would then go beyond the SVCD spec and there is a good chance it won't play in your DVD player.
