View Full Version : Maestro not creating correct VIDEO_TS.IFO

I have been experimenting with authoring using IFOEdit 0.95 and Maestro 2.9. What I have learned is that Maestro creates a more correct set of files in terms of proper chapter locations and movie length. IFOEdit manages to screw both of those up, but I believe I have read posts on how to fix the chapter issue (with * .8). However, when I examine the Maestro outputted VIDEO_TS.IFO, it's basically identical to the original one, with all the PGC's, Audiotracks, subs, etc. An IFOEdit created VIDEO_TS.IFO file looks correct, with only one video, one audio track, and nothing.

Can anybody give me any ideas on how to correct this as I'm afraid I'll end up authoring coasters? I tried putting the program through IFOUpdate, hoping that might correct something, but nada. I'm sure the setting or fix is quite easy, I'm just not finding it anywhere. Thanx!

Just a bit more information I need to add...when I put the IFO's through IFOUpdate and try to "Update IFO", I get the error message: "Improper VIDEO_TS file. Aborting."

Further, when I check the content of the original and authored VTS_01_0.IFO in IFOEdit, the authored one appears to be correct in terms of one video and one audio, a chapters list and no menus, when compared to the original VTS_01_0.IFO which has all the video, audio, subs, menu information.

Hope that additional info helps in clearing up whether or not I have an issue on my hands here.
