VHS -> VCD, what filters?

I want to encode in VCD some VHS.
I have the .avi imported from the VHS, and I use TMPGEnc+

What kind of filters should I use? Noise? Interlaced?

Convolution3D is the one I personally use.
How good are the captured .avi's?
