short movie???

Hi Im having some timing issues, when I reencode movies and get the mpv file (using single or multipass) and try to watch it in eg. media player it begins and ends where it's supposed to, however the time of the movie is only 1/3 or 1/4 of the original time.
anybody encountered this problem and know how to solve it...
(tried both cce 2.5 and the 2.64)
(hardware 1800 xp)
please any help is greatly appreciated

Mux it with the sound.write it as a svcd or dvd or else and then play.
U should have no problems...
It also happened to me :-))

just playing the video file by itself does this.
