I am riping dvd's to divx 4 with DD 5ch AC3 audio... the first movie i did went perfectly everything looked good and audio synched perfectly... now ive done a second movie the same way just with a slightly higher bit rate and im getting very small gliches in the sound every so often very random but the audio synch's perfect what could be the cause of this... i use claddvd xp to rip the vob files with the correct audio streem then i used dvd2avi to encode the video and rip the DD 5.1 AC3 file and then i am using nandub to combine the audio and video.. what could be the cause of these very small random audio gliches... TIA dave I listened to the bare ac3 file b4 being joined with the video and i dont hear any of the gliches so that would mean it would most likly have to do with nandub and probably my interleaving settings which i left a default preload 500 ms and interleave audio every 1 frame.

Hi-

...probably my interleaving settings which i left a default preload 500 ms and interleave audio every 1 frame.

There you have it. When I leave it at default, I also get jerkiness in panning shots. Try 96ms/96ms. And please see the AC3 Q&A (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=18318) for more information.
