View Full Version : DVD authoring in IFOEdit

I'm backing up my DVD's by burning the entire thing to disc, taking out what I don't need (i.e. extra languages, extras I don't need, etc.) to lower down the size. And then I use ReMPEG2 again to lower the bitrate of the movie so it's size can fit onto a disc. The problem is that when I try to author the DVD back from the m2v file to vob's, IFO will only change my m2v file to VTS_01_x.vob's instead of, for example, VTS_04_x.vob's which they were originally. Should I just change my file names to what they need to be (through the windows "rename" feature), or is there another way to make my files come out to be VTS_04_x.vob's? Should I consider to use another program such as Maestro to re-author when all I want to do is lower the bitrate of the main movie and put it back on there? Sorry for all the typing, I get carried away.
Thanks
