SmartRipper with locked regions

I have a question. I have a region locked drive, and was thinking as I cant see the movie, probably cant rip the vob files either, is that right? I tried to do so, and it didn't work, so that is my guess..
Any help, will be welcome.

Hi and welcome to the forum-

You can rip them. For some reason SmartRipper locks up on me, but DVDDecrypter does fine. It gives a warning, and then rips them with no problem-just a bit slower than usual.

Thanks Manono for your help and let me tell you, it is a good thing to keep new users from posting from day 1, since this way I learned many things, other way I would have wanted answers all the time with no previous search.
