Hi all,
Have bought a DVD-Writer for my PC and decided to set myself up with a small project to get into DVD authoring. Here in the UK just saw the first showing of the full Star Wars Trilogy Special Edition on TV. Unfortunately at the time of the first two film my DVDR1000 was in Belgium for repair. Anyway for last film Return of the Jedi I managed to record the enitire film from a digital box onto two DVD discs.I have copied both discs onto my harddisc labeled DVD1 and DVD2. So what I want to acheive is as follows:-
1) Edit out all the commercials on my PC
2) Set the ratio to 16:9 instead of 4:3. (It was recorded in 16x9)
3) Burn this with menus to a DVD+R disc.
So what software do I use? What do I need to do with the data? I have mereged all the VOB files into one file. (if this was a bad idea I have all the original data before I did this).
I ideally want to fully understand how to carry out steps 1 and 2 above. I have Sonique MyDVD for step 3 but I haven't really played with it yet.
Hope somebody can help out.
